Wellesbourne Poppy Cascade (FF27-2023)

On the local news yesterday evening and as the sun made an appearance late morning we went to see them.  Around 8000 poppies are in place around Wellesbourne (Warwickshire)   The last few were being fixed to the church railings as we arrived - the official 'opening' is tomorrow.

Well worth going to see, although probably best to bear in mind the last part of Church St is quite narrow if you want to park there. Guess 10 minutes walk from Chedhams yard.
Oh - and take a wide angle lens - those trees limit the viewpoints.
