Beacon Tarn

We had a good evening with G&A last night and a lovely meal.  Good conversation and company.

After breakfast drove to Water Yeat for a walk to Beacon Tarn and then on up Beacon Fell - one of Wainwright's Outlying Fells.  This is the view of the tarn looking south towards Blawith Knott.  The weather was rather grey but improved while we were walking.  We had a good walk with A&G and then went to Undercrag for lunch - which was very tasty.

Home and they have now left.  A nice couple of days and I feel better for a walk - having not been out very much lately.
