Bohemian Waxwings

When I walked out my front door this morning the first thing I saw were ten waxwings feeding on cotoneaster. I had my bike, but managed to get the camera out and get a few shots. I've had apples out for weeks but the waxwings around the islands seem to be concentrating on berries just now, so the starlings polish off the apples. They flew off and I saw a post online about a flock of thirty plus by a care home a few minutes away, so I cycled over and they were still there (extra). A diversion up Muddisdale produced a flock of redpoll (extra) and my first ever Orkney blue tit!  No photo unfortunately.
