Land-and-seascapes

Scotland, day 5 of 6.

No long drives today. We finally explored the landscapes nearby Ballachulish and Glencoe.
First we drove up to the Lagangarbh hut and walked around for about 2 hours, climbing a tiny piece of the Buachaille Etive Mor. The weather was a bit drizzly. Not dry, not wet. It suited the landscape perfectly.

We then went on the the Glencoe Ski Resort, to see if we could go up with the chair lift, but the mountain tops were all covered in clouds, so didn't go up. We did have a delicious lunch instead.

The next stop was Glen Etive. We drove all the way down the single track road to Loch Etive. With a few stops along the way, to take in the majestic scenes that were all around us. The light was magical every now and then.

On the way back to the A82 we had quick stop at the waterfall with the Buachaille in the backdrop. Of course. At the parking I saw a familiar dutch JEEP parked up. It turned out that Peter de Jong (@pdjphoto on insta) was also there. I never met him in person, but we've been following each other for quite some time already. I knew he was in the area.
It was nice to meet him and we had short chat. Nice guy.

By then it was almost 17:00 hours and we went back to our back, with a final stop at the COOP supermarket. Dinner will be had in the cabin tonight.
