Firewalking

We had a little blipmeet at a Firefestival this evening, with Hildasrose and Rob and Chrispybox and Mrs C.
It should have been really good with barbecue , fire eating and fire walking, but it absolutely hammered down with rain and the roads were beginning to flood again as we came home.
However, it wasn’t cancelled and the fire walkers carried on regardless.
 I just do not understand how anyone can do it and why they aren’t horribly burned but anyway about fifteen people were mad enough to pay £40 and do it!
This person was first in the queue and walked through about four times. The numbers dwindled by the time they were on their fourth round! They had to do a couple of hours preparation. I noticed that they all looked into the organiser/trainer’s eyes as they walked and appeared to be repeating something. 
Hats off to them, I couldn’t do it.
In other news I went with Mrs C and Rose to a felt picture making session today. Photo tomorrow.
