a lifetime burning

Taking advantage of the extra hour that the change from British Summer Time gave me, I was on the road early this morning, heading north.  The weather has been kind so far, and I managed to enjoy some wildlife photograph at my overnight stop of, before the light went completely.

I'm vaguely hoping that, if it stays dry and not too windy, I might see some bearded tits in the morning, but who knows. The forecast is for rain … of course!

I've given you an extra of female marsh harrier in flight.
