Buzzard

"Just" a buzzard I thought to myself  ....  and yet I remember it was only a couple of years ago that I'd have been delighted to get a shot of a buzzard like this.  

I've been trying not to anxiously check the weather forecast for next week, but it's hard not to take a peek to see if it's improved at all.  The good news is that it doesn't look to be quite so torrential all week now, but I'm packing boots, spare boots, wellington boots waterproofs and lots of extra pairs of dry socks just in case.  Can't be too careful!
