Thomas colouring his Paw Patrol vehicles, and it was lovely listening to his constant, imaginative chatter as he did so.

We'd got a table booked at Diablos on the waterfront at lunchtime, in one of the outside "bubbles" so that the children could run up and down the decking between courses and still be in view. The food was very good, I enjoyed it.

Today has seemed a long day somehow, which surely can't have been down to the extra hour.
