Super Sketch....

Sam has, I think, been quite lucky....

It would appear he has picked up some useful traits from both me and Sarah....

He has Sarah's stubborn determination, overpowering desire to help others, slapstick sense of humour, love of food, (oh & her wicked temper).....he is very practical, likes horror films and trying new things....particularly food.

He also has a few of my more subtle attributes, attention to detail, considerable patience and a streak of creativity....

Things are fiercely competitive out there in the real world and our children, now more than ever, need to identify and develop all the things they are good at and that may differentiate them, from earlier and earlier an age.

Sarah and I remind all of our kids that they should be proud of their attributes, their abilities, to stand out in the crowd, don't be a clone....a sheep, don't follow the pack.

As well as being very sporty, Sam is great with his hands, very good at art in particular, he has a vivid imagination and likes to sketch and doodle....this is a quick sketch he did to put in his uncles birthday card....
