Water Off A Duck's Back

We had a nice, uneventful trip down to Staffordshire towing The Palace.

We come down to our narrowboat syndicate AGM every November. This year we had to find a new site for the Kensington as our preferred one was full and another regular one gave no reply on the phone.

We found a Club Site on a farm beside the Staffordshire Showground which we pass on the way to the boat. The owners didn't want their beautiful field chewed up so (thankfully) they let us stay on the concrete yard. It's always good to have a hard-standing at this time of year.

In the late afternoon we took advantage of a bit of sunshine and went to the Staffs Wildlife Trust reserve at Wolseley Bridge.

Cosily in for the night but absolutely no Wi-Fi so we will be taking our laptops out with us to a cafe in the morning!
