The Lozarithm Lens

The Woodland Garden (Tuesday 31st October 2023)

A rainy Halloween. I ventured outdoors for a walk into Calne but took no pictures, so these wet acer leaves in the patio area behind the outbuilding are my only record of the day.

Lozarithm's Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Lana Del Rey - Season Of The Witch (2019)
Donovan seems to have coined this well-worn phrase when he recorded the original version of this in Hollywood in April 1966, and put it on the American Sunshine Superman album that August (the recording wasn't released in the UK until June 1967). The first notable cover version was by Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger and the Trinity and there have been many since then. Lana Del Ray's version appeared on the soundtrack to Guillermo Del Toro's Scary Stories to Tell In The Dark. It seemed perfect for Halloween night.
