Marvin

Whilst Lancaster enjoyed a rather blistering weekend, the east coast was a bit naff and cold. Not put out by the minging weather we threw ourselves into beach Frisbee. Dave, the captain, and I were both a bit worried about what would happen in the days games as we taught the team a new offensive strategy an hour before our first game. However, we needn't have worried. The team gelled and came out hard, taking many of our opponents by storm and ending the day with 4wins, 1 loss and 1 draw in the pool with two games left to play before semi's and finals. So so proud of everyone!

This cohesion continued into the evening when we joined together in the middle of the girls 6man tent for team drinking and chanting before hitting the party. The theme for the weekend was Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy, hence my photo of Damo dressed as Marvin the Alien. He went on to win the costume prize for the weekend... can you guess why??
