A big bird reserve like RSPB Leighton Moss needs a lot of work to keep it in optimum condition for its regular residents.

Very necessary. But when  the volunteers move in the birds move out to another part of the Estate.

Our sympathy to those living in the South who are suffering the ravages of a major storm. No sign of any stormy weather here in the north west. We have escaped for the second time in the past month but no doubt our turn will come.
