Wound up in Wexford

Shadows

Lovely evening light - extra shows the sky/sun casting these shadows.

A cold but fine morning - so we spent an hour or so deciding on the position of some perennials to sit amongst the shrubs in the new pond bed.  Then some "housewifely" tasks - a load of towels washed, and all the washing from Tuesday sorted, ironed and put away.  We were waiting for a parcel, delivered by An Post.

After a quick lunch we went into New Ross.  Main task - pick up colour charts to decide on paint colours - we've booked a painter to decorate the main living areas downstairs - hopefully by the end of this month.  The wall that features in my blip will be changing colour, and of course, once it's painted, we will hang pictures, so no more plain wall.

We also bought some allium bulbs to plant around the pond.

Ciarán willing, we will do some planting in the next few days - we seem to be getting off very lightly compared to other areas in Europe.
