Windy Weather

Today has been hectic, as the South Africans would say. It's been lovely but busy. Little Man and I went round to Alphen aan den Rijn, this morning, to spend some time with one of the mums from church whose youngest is a year older than Little Man. The two boys had a lot of fun together, whilst we chatted.

We came home and had a quiet afternoon. I took Little Man out for a short walk as he wanted to get out of the house. It was easier said than done as it was extremely windy and made walking rather difficult. We then went round to some other church friends for dinner. Mum had cooked whilst Dad and I helped her with various bits and pieces. This couple have 3 boys, with the youngest being about 3 weeks younger than my boy. The 4 of them all had an absolute party and Little Man was tired enough to go straight to bed when we got home. It was lovely seeing them.

The wind is still tearing around the house and rattling the windows. It is a bit creepy.
