"Employees must wash hands before returning to work" reads the sign that's posted on the mirror above the sink in the men's room at my office.

But in keeping with what I hear around me all day, here're some alternatives:

"Employees will please to kindly be washing their hands before returning to work."

"Hey! You freakin' kiddin' me? Wash ya hands before yous go back out dare."

"Dude, like, wash your hands before you go back to work, you know?"




That should cover it.
