Preserved

Achieved about half-an-hour's gardening this afternoon and accidentally severed this fuchsia stem while I was attempting to photograph it for Flower Friday (with thanks to host, Anni). Had a little play in Photoshop and liked this tiled effect.

This morning I was supposed to be baby-sitting the young master but arrived at his house just as the hairdresser had informed his mum that her appointment had been cancelled owing to the hairdresser's absence. It's been rearranged, but as I was there, I stayed and helped with a few jobs - mostly creating laundry, by changing sheets, and dealing with laundry, plus a few other bits and bobs. The little boy was good as gold. He's now crawling everywhere and gaining speed, so we need eyes in the back of our heads. "Sorting" a basketful of bibs kept him occupied happily, while I emptied the washing machine, put the contents on an airer, and loaded it with the next pile.
