Christmas is Coming……..

 I bring you a Christmassy blip in line with the arrival of the ferris wheel in Princes Street Gardens (a different one I think from the one so recently in its place) and the erection of the Christmas Market.. it seems yesterday that the Christmas market of 2022 was being dismantled in January and just about 6weeks since  the Festival shenanigans were cleared  from the streets. There is no end to the ways in which the Edinburgh town council can fill their coffers  but not unfortunately the potholes. There seems to be no consultation with us residents as to what is acceptable to our lives as we try to go about our business  through a madness of visitors and traffic jams.

I took this blip in the garden of today’s book group hostess . We were discussing  the book Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver over scones and coffee. It was all so civilised for a Friday morning.
