Mitton Hall

We slept well last night after all the driving.  Today we took W's sister and her Aunt and partner out to lunch at Mitton Hall in the Ribble Valley.  A very nice 'Country House' hotel well suited for wedding receptions and indeed, there was one going on while we were there.  The food was good and we enjoyed the company; nice to catch up with them after a long time.

I took this shot of the exterior of the hotel as we left; there was a lovely big fireplace inside with a log fire burning which would have made a good shot, but there were too many of the wedding guests milling around with their apéritifs to get a clear shot.

Back home tomorrow; around 210 miles but hopefully we will get an early start and get home at a reasonable time.
