Raindrops on Roses

It rained hard all day. We decided to take a trip out to take our minds off it. First, we returned to Elms Farm at Costock hard by Oscar's Pumpkin Patch. I bought all the small pumpkins stacked up outside, and then chose various cuts of meat and gorgeous looking soft cheese to eat.

We thought we'd rather like a cup of coffee so turned right on driving back into East Leake to Love and Piste, an outlet for winter ski clothing. The brownies were yummy scrumptious and the coffee authentic even if it was disguised by being in lattes.

I said to the lady at the desk that I could never find a suitable outdoor coat that was both waterproof and windproof. Would you believe? She had just the thing, a man's jacket, the last in the sale. She's put it aside for me to collect in the coming week.

Then we went to Sainsbury's in Loughborough for a few things ending up at Colin's because I'd promised him a pumpkin. That's where we saw the raindrops on roses.
