Bridge over Beverley Brook on Wimbledon Common.

I had a long walk on Wimbledon Common with my brother. We walked to Beverley Brook where there is a new bridge dedicated to Brasher Chataway and Bannister who used to train on the common. The Brook had been straightened over the years but now the supports at the sides of the brook have been removed allowing if to meander as if used to. Already wildlife and fish are returning to the stream as it is beginning to forge a more natural meandering course.
