Dancing Moorhen

Sunday 5th November 2023                (backblip)

A much better day ..... lovely sunshine all morning .... it did cloud up a bit in the afternoon but stayed dry :-)

Wasn't too pleased that the cloud rolled in as we left for our walk but the sun did peep out now & then as compensation!

We saw our first Fieldfare .... unfortunately it was deep in a Hawthorn bush so I couldn't get a photo .... maybe next week :-)

Also saw a pair of Jays ..... tried to get a photo but they declined & flew off! Hey ho ..... at least we saw them!

Loved this little Moorhen .... it looked to be dancing across the grass .... I did manage a photo so this had to be my blip :-)

We also saw the female Kestrel .... managed to get fairly close but couldn't get a clear shot :-(

The clouds cleared & we finished our walk in lovely sunshine ..... a bonus :-)
