Threatening sky

I decided I absolutely had to have a walk this afternoon so I went out despite the threat of rain.  It was slightly raining when I set out, but the threatening sky that was approaching did not actually produce any rain once it was overhead.  And, when I got home, Stuart was well underway with cutting the lawn.  So a good afternoon after all!

My son doesn't ever read my blip, so I can say that a secondhand Japanese lacquer box arrived today from an eBay seller.  It's wonderful and I think he will be thrilled with it for one of his Christmas presents.  It was a bargain, in my opinion!
