Y ffordd hir i fasnachwyr yr adeiladwyr

Y ffordd hir i fasnachwyr yr adeiladwyr ~ The long road to the builders' merchants

“The greatest glory of a building is not in its stones, nor in its gold. Its glory is in its Age and in that deep sense of voicefulness...which we feel in walls that have long been washed by the passing waves of humanity.”

― John Ruskin

Roedd rhaid i fi fynd i fasnachwyr yr adeiladwyr heddiw, felly cymrais i'r ffordd hir ar draws y comin oherwydd y byddai cyfle i dynnu ffotograffau o'r coed. Roedd yn werth y pellter ychwanegol.

Mae e wedi bod amser hir ers es i fasnachwyr yr adeiladwyr ond nawr mae amser i ailddechrau fi ngwaith ar y tŷ...

I had to go to the builders merchants today, so I took the long way across the common because there would be an opportunity to take photographs of the trees. It was worth the extra distance.

It's been a long time since I went to the builders merchants but now it's time to resume work on the house...
