The Lozarithm Lens

Recent Acquisitions (Wednesday 8th November 2023)

I've enjoyed Julian Cope's The Modern Antiquarian since it was published in 1998, proudly filed next to Aubrey Burl's The Stone Circles Of Britain, Ireland And Brittany in my study, so I naturally pre-ordered the 25th Anniversary booklet How I Wrote The Modern Antiquary... And Why?, which landed on my doormat this morning, including a 40-minute CD of brand new songs and theatre pieces inspired by megalithic culture. Invaluable for a day when the rain never stopped. Julian Cope and his wife Dorian have lived in Calne and I believe still live nearby, half-way to Avebury.
