was published in 1981. Today’s Blipfoto entry is of part of North Callange Farm and shows a traditional farm steading building which has been modified to accommodate 20th century farm machinery. The thumbnail shows a fairly significant steel beam.

The traditional materials of clay pantiles on the roof and stone walls modified by the use of brick together with various forms of timber cladding are also shown.

The blue sky is a welcome improvement in the weather. We had called in to visit an Artist’s studio which although advertised open was closed.

We did look through the studio windows which was useful. We had not intended to buy anything, but it is also useful to see how artists and their work develop.

Harking back to traditional farm buildings I recalled the many traditional farm steading DH’s that Pat and I designed projects to turn them into houses. They were in the era of BB. Before Blipfoto.
