Wound up in Wexford

We dodged the showers, and suffered the wind to plant some perennials and ground cover in the pond bed.  Now awaiting a delivery of allium bulbs and then we'll plant these and some grasses close to the pond, and it will be done.  Now thinking about the next small project - a smaller bed with some fruit trees and other stuff on the other side of the patio.

We were upset today to learn that Betsy from Natural Landscapers, who came with James to look at our garden with a view to putting in a wildlife pond, has died of brain cancer.  We were aware that she was unwell when they visited back in August, but not how ill!  We await James recovering from this blow and deciding if/when he will get back to work.

This afternoon I managed a bit of time in the sewing room.

After a lovely dinner cooked up by W, we got our nightly fix of Rita on Netflix.  One of these days, we'll get out TV connections sorted so we can watch ordinary "free to air" Irish TV!
