A time for everything

Fall reflections

I spent my morning doing my Duolingo, catching up on correspondence and a bit of housework. Early afternoon, we went walking at Rowe Woods, by which time morning clouds had given way to sunshine. There were several employees around the central area putting up lights for their Lights in the Forest holiday display which they started a couple of years ago. Most of the leaves were down from the trees along the trails now, except for the oak and beech trees which hold onto their leaves through much of the winter. The water in the lake was still, affording beautiful reflections of the remaining Fall colour. By the time we got back, it was time for a quick dinner before going out to hand bell and choir practice, which were most enjoyable and went pretty well.
