Morning glory

Every other time I've had morning glory it's been a big vine, growing many feet. These, planted in pots in the spring, are barely 20cm high. Six plants, in different pots, all behaving similarly, and there are one or two flowers most days between them. 

Neighbour duty first; waiting in for US visitors arriving for whom it's their first time in the city. Swim rather later than usual. A fine cold blue sky day with frost on roofs first thing.
