Pentland Hills Ridge walk

A gloriously dry, calm, sunny 2nd Saturday walk.

101A bus from the bus station, which was full before it got to Lothian Road, which caused a swift reorganisation of travel arrangements for most of the walkers. The start point was Silverburn, with a steep climb up to South Black Hill - the extra is taken part way up that path looking down to Silverburn, with a disused quarry on the left and N Berwick Law in the far distance.

The main image is from the top of East Kip, with the shadow of West Kip on it in the foreground, from where there's a path back around to the start point. 16 people, and a good pattern of choosing different conversation partners as we walked.

Picture of @andrewburns on top of West Kip.

Back by no 4 bus, which was quiet.
