Armistice Day

Spent time looking at the Commonwealth War Graves at Corstorphine Hill Cemetery. The Polish community light candles & the local Consulate lays a wreath with candle burning. Many graves also have a yellow rose left.

I note that the Yugoslav & Czech soldiers are also remembered with the Polish.

The area is always kept immaculate & a few St Andrew's Cross flags are spread out beside some of the rows & graves.

There are other International graves in other rows & some Scots too. Also a few individual war graves dotted around the rest of the cemetery.
