REMEMBRANCE DAY 2023

Went over to Mum's this morning.  Arrived in time to watch the procession and observe the 2 minute silence for the Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph.

My brother and his partner arrived about 20 minutes later so we had a chat and catch up.  After they left we had sandwiches and a chat with Mum.  Then home via the A6.  A little busy but not too bad.

It was busy coming through Grange as the Remembrance Service at St Paul's was just letting out and everyone was walking down to the War Memorial in the Ornamental Gardens to lay wreaths.  Such a shame as it was tipping it down with rain. A complete difference to yesterday.  So glad we paid our respects yesterday when it was nice and sunny.  This is mainly as it was Armistice Day but also we needed to visit Mum today.

Do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
