Remembrance Sunday

Todayis Remembrance Sunday and there's always a big parade from the Guildhall led by the Porthywaen Band. The ceremony including the two minutes silence and laying of wreaths was at the Memorial Gates at the park.

I was in it for the first time as she's now old enough to join the Brownies.  Unfortunately it rained heavily for the whole thing and participants were soaked.

There are extra photos of the band leading the parade, C with Baby E and a very wet I in her uniform.

Afterwards F and I went to a lovely meal at O's followed by time spent with the children.  O and F spent most of this time setting up and playing with I's train set!
