Light painting

We had an interesting evening at the Photographic Society tonight.  Our visiting speaker ran a practical session of light painting.  He brought along a variety of LED light sources including single lights, light sticks and light wands, fibre optic lights, some steady, some flashing, some multicoloured.  He waved them around in various patterns while the club members took photos. It is something I have not tried before, and not something that I am likely to do very often, but it provided an interesting and engaging evening, rather different from our normal club nights.

Fortunately my back held out well enough to allow me to enjoy the evening.
