Bright and Beautiful

Our essential painter handyman is taking advantage of the sun to fix some bubbles in the paint on our end of the condo and I couldn’t resist this wonderful light exactly as it was with shadows, reflections and geometry.  (that’s his white van, parked at the neighbors. 

The extra is to record the social event of the day: the carry on book club.   All the best parts:  Mary,  who chose the book and baked a delicious apple cake, and the clear view from our hostess’s house.   Leonard and Hungry Paul is a wonderful gentle book about goodness and kindness, friendship and relationship, and usually unrecognized people, told with lots of humor, not drama or angst.     There were 6 of us but we are going to have to make some changes as it’s much too hard and stressfulI I’m sorry to admit  to try to carry on with the 2 who have serious memory issues.  Another was out of the country…but a bookclub of 5 who can read will work.
