Wild

Wild weather! Rain all day and, in the afternoon and evening, storm force winds (courtesy Storm Debi) howling around. Everything outside - tree branches, shrubs, even the woven fence  - was swaying wildly in the wind.

The Blip was taken through the window. Stepped outside only to right some plants in containers that had been blown over, and place them in a more sheltered position. Even the bay tree in its big, heavy pot crashed down, and I was quite relieved that the pot didn't crack!

Some time ago MrM, not a great pasta lover, saw a recipe for Pasta all Genovese on the internet, and thought it sounded good. A few days ago we bought the ingredients, and today seemed a good day to try making it. The verdict was 'OK', but neither of us thought it special enough to warrant over 4 hours' cooking on the hob, and I didn't enjoy peeling and finely chopping six large onions! Not something we'll be eating very often...
