I've just doused it in brandy :-)

It seems to be a fairly solid Christmas cake, not surprisingly as I added lots of nuts and seeds to the fruit mix in an effort to Zoe-fy it! I also used buckwheat flour which scores better than wheat, but even so it only scores 35 for me, and the marzipan and icing will drag that down rather... but I love Christmas cake!

I've had a lovely lunch at my friend Jan's, although I hadn't realised that she was worried about cooking for me, but she'd made a fish stew which was very tasty.

Now I need to think about packing for the weekend, it's going to be wet!
