Looking over the Strines Reservoir

On our way for an early evening meal and catch up with friends. The Strines road is a narrow and at times hairpin bend with steep descents kind of a road that links the A629 Manchester Road to the A57 Manchester Road (from Sheffield). It's very scenic and worth the concentration - though the driver gets less time to look around than does the passenger (for fairly obvious reasons).

I came back with two art books on loan - one of Barbara Rae's prints which I've been wanting to look at for some time. We drove home via Sheffield.
