Study day

The final projects are all wrapped up and all that is left is the final exam. Today is study day. Aside from checking on some of my students for last minute suggestions on their final papers in the morning there is little for me to do. Now it is all up to them. Our work begins when there's is up...

After dinner we canoed out on the lake to watch the sun set and shared a bottle of wine. Happy for the company of a family of loons nearby. Bobbing on the water, a family of four, including two little puff balls nestled on the back of mom while dad would periodically disappear to fish, reappearing right beside the canoe. Amazzzing...
