Sleeping Snipe....

Sunshine!  it's back! A lovely way to end the week!  So we took a little wander to the reserve at Two Tree Island where there were lots of birds snoozing in the sun! I don't blame them!  Nice to see the Snipe though, joined by a Lapwing on their own little patch!

And I took advantage of the sun this afternoon by planting out more bulbs I ordered - narcissus, tulips, hyacinths and iris - so another job ticked off the list!  And while I was out there I got to see 2 butterflies - Red Admiral and Peacock - along with a ladybird! Madness!
