The new and the old

I’ve had so many problems with my tripod lately that I decided to replace it with a new one. I’ve had my tripod since 2012 and it has served me well, but I guess almost twelve years of abuse on beaches, in fresh water and in sea water, in deep mud and in hot and freezing cold conditions eventually takes its toll…

The new tripod has four instead of three segments, making it a bit smaller. In about a month it will see its first heavy use on Skye.
