Day at a Time

Tin

A systematic start to the 2024 tin tabernacle project. This isn't the first tin kirk I've blipped and it isn't 2024 but I'm underway anyway. This is the former St Columba Catholic Church in Methven, near Perth. It's now used by Scouts to store tents and other outdoor equipment. Nice building.

After finding the building we had a muddy walk in Methven Den and round the village. Only about three miles but a pleasant stroll. The countryside was looking lovely and I found a crumbling Nissen Hut so photographed another tin building.

We've stopped in Crieff, which is looking a bit down at heel,  but we found somewhere promising for a quick lunch before we head home.
