Hunter

Darkness had dropped and it was very dangerous out there if you were a vole.

The barn owl came out and started coursing the field hunting shortly after the two short-eared owls appeared few over the horizon and disappeared.

I'd put the longer lens away and was just standing holding the 300mm which is a good deal better as it lets in more light at f2.8 but the iso was rocking at 20000 just to get any sort of speed up. He swept towards me white against the gloom and I tried valiantly to keep him in the frame. This is just before he nearly hit the camera...
possibly :)

A shed load of editing here but I have my limitations.
