Scoots, Shoots & Leaves

Not crunchy, but QUIET

Fresh raspberries, right off the vine -- no crunch; they almost melt in your mouth, so qualify as QUIET food (except for the lip smacking).

We have some bumper crops this summer - artichokes (tonight's dinner), honeysuckle, strawberries, clematis, grapes -- and so sign of the nasty aphids we sometimes get. Now we just hope the bigger critters don't get the fruit before we do - raccoons, possum, squirrels, bluejays. I tell you, it's a jungle out there!

Today's Adverb/Adjective challenge: QUIET

BlipBear and Kiwi traveled across town today via Kendall to visit with Passages and Joyfullife before heading back east. They were wonderful house guests; we sent them on their way bearing a few more accessories - I hope they make it through airport security, for all the metal buttons and pins they're wearing! Bon voyage, little blipfriends!
