Raindrops & Blue Skies

Boy was it windy this morning - there were rubbish bins being all over the place.
One of the problems with 'selective' recycling buns is that the bins for plastics and paper are very light (even when full) and they can't stand up to any kind of wind.
We arrived at Bags' first thing and I had to pick up a neighbours' bin and half its contents. It was down again and half way along the street a few minutes later.
Back at our house there were 2 other bins standing next to mine (one of them from half way along the road) which is sheltered by the house, the tree and the wall. It doesn't bother me .... there is safety in numbers. I did have to collect all the stuff which completely covered their front garden. They are on holiday and it would have just stayed until they got back. The annoying thing is, their bin wasn't even out and everyone elses were standing which means somebody had stood them up and just left the rubbish!!!!!!!! Grrrrrrr.

We had two collections this morning - one of them was on-route to the 2nd and the drop-off so that was nice and easy. It was also nice to get a load of stuff that was in good condition and not fit for the bin.

Later we dropped in to the garden centre and picked up the free gifts. We also met up with Mr & Mrs Mac and had a bit of a chat.

After having taken pictures of the raindrops on the window in the morning I thought it was only faor to balance things up by taking pictures of the 'sunset' ... well the bit of colour anyway.  Shots over here.
