Hill Glory Bower

A visit to RHS Bridgewater this afternoon. It’s not far from home, is designed so well and excellent for those with mobility issues, and it’s different every time we visit. For what seems like the first time in an age we had glorious sunshine and light.

The main image is not a flower but I think the seed heads of the Hill Glory Bower. It is growing alongside the path which weaves through the Chinese Stream-side Garden, so I assume has its origins in China.

Two extras. One a big seed head, which looks like a human head with an outrageous hair-style. And the other the moon rising over the Moon Bridge Water as we were leaving the garden.,
