Living my dream

Bloooo

What a cracker day: blue sky from start to finish.

I’m glad I covered the tender crops with frost fleece last night: it was 0C when I got up. Since then it’s warmed up to 20C with a gentle breeze. It is drying the grass nicely and I should be able to do some mowing tomorrow.

It’s been a steadily busy day vacuuming, weeding, watering, picking salads, and line trimming.

This afternoon I’ve been making Canadian Farmhouse cheese…carefully timing things so that I don’t have to wake up at 11.30pm to move it from the press to the brine, which was my mistake four weeks ago.

Bean approves of the sunshine. See the extra.
