Rodents rule

Juno has been a horror again, with the continued attack on the paper bag during a meeting. In retrospect, I should have moved the bag to the recycling yesterday, so I have only myself to blame.

The members' free film at the cinema this evening was The Eternal Daughter, which was described as a horror/ghost film, but it's not a horror at all. The "ghost" part isn't the usual fare but far more thought-provoking. The attitude of the staff at the hotel elicited a few giggles from the audience.

As it was a members' free screening, the showing was packed – it's nice to see, but wish the members attended the half-price Monday films in such numbers, too (there were only five people at the film we saw yesterday, including us). We live in fear of the cinema shutting down as it's become such a large part of our lives.
