The outdoor thermometer read 14F this morning! It’s the coldest temperature we’ve had this season. Even the heated birdbath was iced over on one end • By the time MrsC stopped by it had warmed nicely to 34F and the sun was shining • I’m getting ready to make a faux-beef stew for dinner. After eating Thanksgiving food over the past couple of days I thought a soup sounded good. But I’ve settled on a thick brothy stew instead, with lots of veggies. It will hit the spot on another cold night • Oh, and our little artificial tree is up with lights only, for now. It’s so cheerful on these early dark days • Enjoy your Saturday evening :)
