Saturday: Houston Lanterns

We were up early for our flight from Houston to Belize.  It was remarkably smooth at the airport and we were through in plenty of time to have breakfast.  It’s a nice airport (not as nice as Palm Springs - definitely the best airport we have ever been to as you can sit outside in the fresh air until it’s literally time to board) with decent shops, eateries and Chinese lanterns.

We’re now back in Belmopan.  Barney is happy to see us.  The one thing that diminishes our enjoyment of travel is knowing he doesn’t do well without us. Apparently he’s been under the bed for most of the week.  But he’s fine now and has been outside for most of the day since we got back.
